Periodic Reviews
The IFSP is a document which is dynamic and ever-changing in order to address the family’s current needs. Ongoing assessment is a key component in the periodic (six-month) and annual reviews of the IFSP. Determining the degree to which progress towards achieving family and child outcomes are being made and whether further evaluation of the child’s development is warranted is an important component of the periodic and annual IFSPs.
