Our child wasn't talking like our friend's kids, so we asked Early On to come over to talk about our concerns and do an evaluation. They saw her speech delays, but also saw that she was having trouble with the quality of her movement. Learning that she was having trouble with more than just her speech bothered me, but as we talked more about what the evaluators saw, I understood how the different parts of her development were related and how we could work together to do some things that would help address all of our concerns.
