What Is the Michigan Interagency Coordinating Council?
The Michigan Interagency Coordinating Council is a partnership of representatives from families, state agencies, community service providers, and other groups. Its primarily role is to advise and assist the state as the states moves toward greater service integration and service coordination for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families as mandated by Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) (34 CFR Part 303, Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities), Subpart G—Michigan Interagency Coordinating Council.
